Heavy Equipment Operator

Our construction company in Los Angeles is seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic and a passion for operating heavy machinery. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1000 per week.

Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, and loaders
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines while operating equipment
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Communicate with other team members to coordinate tasks and ensure efficiency
- Read and interpret construction plans to determine appropriate equipment usage
- Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with company policies and procedures

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating heavy equipment
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures for heavy equipment operation
- Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team
- Physically fit and able to withstand long hours of sitting or standing in the equipment cab
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

Preferred qualifications:
- Certification or training in heavy equipment operation
- Experience working in the construction industry
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred but not required)
