Computer Systems Analyst - Funchal, Portugal
A computer systems analyst is responsible for evaluating company computer systems and making recommendations for improvements and upgrades. This role requires strong technical skills, as well as the ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex systems. The ideal candidate will also have experience in project management and be able to work collaboratively with other teams.
Responsibilities:
- Assessing current computer systems and identifying areas for improvement
- Collaborating with other teams to implement changes and upgrades
- Troubleshooting system issues and providing solutions
- Conducting research on new technologies and making recommendations for implementation
- Creating project plans, timelines, and budgets for system improvements
- Providing technical support to end-users
- Ensuring that all systems are secure and compliant with company standards
- Documenting system changes, updates, and processes for future reference
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a computer systems analyst or similar role
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking, and security protocols
- Experience in project management and ability to work within budgetary constraints
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues quickly
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with different teams effectively
- Ability to adapt to changing technologies and learn new systems quickly
Salary:
The salary for this position is $1700 per month.
Location:
This is a contract job located in Funchal, Portugal. Applicants must have their own visa or be eligible to work in Portugal.
Experience Required:
Minimum of 2 years experience as a computer systems analyst or similar role is required.
