As a Welder in Funchal, you will be responsible for joining metal parts together using various welding techniques. Your primary goal will be to create strong and durable bonds that meet industry standards and client specifications. To excel in this role, you must have a keen eye for detail, excellent hand-eye coordination, and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings to determine welding requirements
- Set up welding equipment and select appropriate welding technique based on metal type and thickness
- Join metal components together using various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, or arc welding
- Monitor the welding process to ensure quality and accuracy
- Inspect finished welds for defects and make necessary repairs
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of work area at all times
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects within given deadlines

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Welder or similar role
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Proficiency in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, arc)
- Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time, lift heavy objects, and work in confined spaces
- Excellent understanding of safety precautions and procedures in a workshop environment
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in welding is preferred
