Job Title: Instrument Technician - Svalbard


We are currently hiring an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Svalbard on a contract basis. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instrumentation and control systems. This role requires strong technical skills and attention to detail to ensure the reliable operation of our equipment.

Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair various types of instrumentation and control systems
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions and perform necessary repairs
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment
- Keep accurate records of work performed and any issues encountered
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operation of equipment

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Instrument Technician in an industrial setting
- Strong knowledge of various types of instrumentation and control systems
- Ability to read technical drawings and manuals
- Familiarity with safety standards and procedures in an industrial environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1700$ per month.

This position is based in Svalbard.

Contract:
