Junior Information Security Analyst - Lisbon, Portugal


We are currently hiring a Junior Information Security Analyst to join our team in Lisbon, Portugal. Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze security systems for potential vulnerabilities
- Conduct regular audits and tests to identify weaknesses and suggest improvements
- Assist with implementing security controls and protocols
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in information security
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
- Respond to security incidents in a timely manner and provide resolutions
- Prepare reports on security activities, including findings, recommendations, and progress

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Basic knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, etc.
- Familiarity with common operating systems (Windows, Linux) and databases (SQL)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to think critically under pressure
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Passion for learning about information security

Preferred:
- Previous internship or work experience in information security or related field
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CISM

Salary:
We are offering a competitive salary of 1400$ per month for this position. Salary may vary based on qualifications and experience.

Location:
This position is based in Lisbon, Portugal. Applicants must have the legal right to work in Portugal.
