Heavy Equipment Operator



Our company in Braga is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of heavy machinery to assist in the construction and maintenance of buildings, roads, and other infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, loaders, and cranes to move materials and perform construction tasks
- Follow safety procedures and regulations while operating equipment
- Inspect equipment before and after use to ensure proper functioning
- Communicate with other team members to coordinate tasks and ensure efficient workflow
- Maintain equipment by performing routine maintenance and repairs as needed
- Operate equipment in a precise and controlled manner to avoid damage or accidents
- Report any issues or malfunctions with equipment immediately

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid heavy equipment operator license/certification
- At least 2 years of experience operating heavy machinery
- Good physical condition with the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions closely
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Salary:
The salary for this position is $900 per week. Additional benefits may be offered based on performance.

Location:
This is a contract job located in Braga. We are open to candidates from all nationalities, but preference will be given to those who already have a valid visa or are ableto obtain one on their own.
