Database Administrator - Os, Contract Position


We are in need of a skilled and experienced Database Administrator to join our team in Os on a contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our company's databases, ensuring their security, availability, and performance. You must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in database administration and be familiar with various database management systems. A biometric passport is preferred for this position.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain databases according to company needs
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues as needed
- Ensure data security by setting up access controls and conducting regular backups
- Collaborate with IT team to ensure databases integrate smoothly with other systems
- Analyze data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in database technology and make suggestions for implementation

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in database administration
- Familiarity with SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle or other database management systems
- Knowledge of database design principles and data warehousing concepts
- Understanding of data security practices and procedures
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment
