Housekeeper/Room Attendant

We are hiring a professional Housekeeper/Room Attendant to maintain a clean, sanitary, comfortable and tidy environment for our guests. The ideal candidate should be physically fit and have excellent attention to detail. As a Housekeeper/Room Attendant, you will be responsible for cleaning guest rooms, common areas and ensuring all amenities are in working order. You will also be required to provide exceptional customer service to our guests and respond promptly to their requests. Previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality is preferred but not required. This is an entry-level position with opportunities for growth within the company.

Responsibilities:
- Clean and tidy guest rooms, including making beds, changing linens and restocking amenities
- Ensure all areas of the room are free of dust, debris and clutter
- Vacuum carpets and dust furniture
- Clean bathrooms thoroughly, including toilets, sinks, showers/tubs and mirrors
- Restock towels, toiletries and other supplies as needed
- Report any maintenance issues or damaged items to management
- Respond promptly to guest requests or complaints with excellent customer service skills
- Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor at all times

Requirements:
- Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods of time while carrying cleaning supplies/equipment
- Attention to detail with high standards of cleanliness
- Professionalism with excellent communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays or different shifts as needed

Salary: 1600$ per month

City: Nairobi (Preference for Indian nationals)

We welcome freshers who have a passion for cleanliness and willingness to learn. Training will be provided on the job.
