Junior Developer (Svalbard)



We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Junior Developer to join our team in Svalbard. As a junior developer, you will be responsible for assisting in the development and maintenance of various software applications. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1300$.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior developers to design, develop, and test software applications
- Assist in troubleshooting and debugging technical issues
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality standards are maintained
- Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends
- Contribute ideas for improving existing systems and processes

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Minimum 1 year of experience in software development
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g. Java, Python, C++)
- Knowledge of web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Experience with SQL databases
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Biometric passport required for travel purposes
