Plumber Technician
As a Plumber Technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings. You will work with a variety of materials such as PVC, copper, and steel pipes to ensure proper functioning of water and drainage systems. This is a full-time position with no accommodation provided, making it suitable for students looking to gain experience in the plumbing profession.
Responsibilities:
- Install new plumbing systems in accordance with building codes and blueprints
- Repair or replace damaged or malfunctioning pipes, fixtures, and appliances
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on plumbing systems to identify potential issues
- Respond to emergency calls for repairs or clogs
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as electricians and carpenters, to complete projects
- Educate customers on proper usage and maintenance of their plumbing systems
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an apprenticeship program or relevant vocational training preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a plumber technician
- Strong knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience working with various hand and power tools
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Salary:
The salary for this position is 1600$ per month.
