Junior Accountant

We are in search of a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team in Oslo. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles and a desire to learn and grow within the field. This entry-level position does not require prior experience, but a biometric passport is preferred for ease of travel. The chosen candidate will be responsible for assisting with financial record-keeping, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. This is an urgent job opportunity, so immediate availability is preferred. Accommodation will not be provided for this position.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with maintaining accurate financial records
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports
- Handle accounts payable and receivable processes
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations
- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information
- Conduct regular audits to identify discrepancies or errors

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (or currently pursuing)
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under pressure
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

Salary: $1200 per month
