Turner - Contract Position in Oslo, Norway


We are currently seeking a skilled Turner to join our team on a contract basis in Oslo, Norway. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various turning machines and tools to produce high-quality metal parts according to specifications.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate turning machines such as lathes, grinders, and milling machines
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and job orders to determine specifications
- Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy
- Use hand tools and precision measuring instruments to make adjustments as needed
- Maintain equipment by performing routine maintenance tasks
- Troubleshoot machine issues and make necessary repairs

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Turner or similar role
- Proficient in operating turning machines and tools
- Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy materials
- Good communication skills in English (Norwegian is a plus)
