Temporary Restaurant Manager
As a temporary Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant in Fonvieille. Your main duties will include managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a high level of quality in our food and service. This is an entry-level position, so no previous experience is required. However, we are looking for someone who is passionate about the restaurant industry and eager to learn and grow in their role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of servers, cooks, and other restaurant staff
- Create schedules for employees and ensure adequate staffing levels
- Train new employees on company policies and procedures
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders when necessary
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Handle customer complaints and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
- Create and update menus based on seasonality and customer feedback
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the restaurant
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Passion for the restaurant industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Basic understanding of inventory management
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
