Restaurant Manager


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team in Fonvieille, a charming seaside city in the south of France. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our restaurant operations, from managing staff to ensuring exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards of food quality.

Responsibilities:
- Manage daily restaurant operations, including staffing, scheduling, and inventory management
- Train and supervise front-of-house and back-of-house staff to provide outstanding customer service
- Monitor and maintain food quality, safety, and cleanliness standards
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and increase revenue
- Handle customer complaints and resolve any issues that may arise
- Collaborate with the chef to create menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and meet customer preferences
- Maintain good relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality ingredients at competitive prices
- Monitor financial performance by analyzing sales data, controlling costs, and implementing cost-saving measures when necessary
- Ensure compliance with health codes, labor laws, and other regulations

Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar role within the hospitality industry
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Excellent communication skills in both English and French (additional languages are a plus)
- In-depth knowledge of restaurant operations, including food handling procedures, inventory management, and labor laws
- Experience in developing marketing strategies to increase revenue
- Ability to handle pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Salary: $1700 per month (with accommodation)
