Foundryman


We are seeking a skilled Foundryman to join our team in Nakuru, Kenya. As a Foundryman, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining foundry equipment, melting and pouring metal into molds, and producing high-quality castings.

Responsibilities:
- Operate foundry equipment such as furnaces, ladles, and casting machines
- Monitor the melting process to ensure proper temperature and consistency of molten metal
- Pour molten metal into molds and remove finished castings from molds
- Inspect castings for defects and make necessary repairs or adjustments
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety procedures and regulations
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance tasks
- Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production goals

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Foundryman in an industrial setting
- Experience in operating furnaces, ladles, and casting machines
- Ability to read blueprints and work with precision measuring tools
- Physically fit and able to handle heavy loads up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects in castings
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1600 per month for this full-time position.

Location:
This job is located in Nakuru, Kenya. Preference will be given to Indian nationals or candidates currently residing in Kenya.
