Job Title: Preservation Architect (Karachi, Pakistan)


We are seeking a talented Preservation Architect to join our team in Karachi, Pakistan. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for the preservation and restoration of historical buildings and structures. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of historical buildings and structures to determine preservation needs
- Create preservation plans that adhere to local regulations and guidelines
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure the safe restoration of historical structures
- Source appropriate materials for restoration projects
- Oversee construction work to ensure it aligns with preservation plans and standards
- Manage project budgets and timelines
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise
- Document all phases of the preservation process for historical record keeping purposes

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in historic preservation projects
- Strong knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and historic preservation guidelines
- Experience in conducting site assessments and creating preservation plans
- Excellent project management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team of professionals
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Biometric passport preferred for international travel
