Nurse Assistant

Our healthcare facility in Braga is seeking a compassionate Nurse Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to our nursing staff by assisting with patient care, performing basic medical procedures, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Responsibilities:
- Assisting nurses with patient care tasks such as taking vital signs, administering medications, and changing dressings
- Maintaining a clean and organized patient room and common areas
- Restocking supplies and ensuring all medical equipment is properly functioning
- Observing patients for any changes in condition and reporting to the nursing staff
- Providing emotional support and comfort to patients and their families
- Adhering to all safety protocols and infection control measures

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited nursing assistant program preferred
- Valid nursing assistant certification or license
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide compassionate care
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Salary: 1700$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Braga, Portugal (candidates must have own visa)

Contract Type: Temporary (possibility for extension)
