Part-Time Software Tester

The Norwegian branch of a global software development company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Part-Time Software Tester to join our team in Alta. As a tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through thorough testing and analysis. This is a part-time position suitable for candidates with previous experience in software testing and proficiency in various testing tools and techniques. Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional, regression, and usability testing on our software products
- Create and maintain test cases based on project requirements
- Identify, report, and track defects in our bug tracking system
- Collaborate with developers to resolve issues and ensure high-quality deliverables
- Participate in design reviews to provide feedback on potential usability issues
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in testing tools and techniques

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a software tester or similar role
- Strong understanding of software development processes
- Familiarity with different types of testing such as functional, regression, and usability testing
- Proficiency in using testing tools such as Selenium, JMeter, or similar
- Experience with bug tracking systems like JIRA or Bugzilla
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams

Salary:
This is a part-time position paying 1600$ per month.

Location:
This role is based in our office in Alta, Norway. However, due to the current situation surrounding COVID-19, remote work may be considered.
