Salary: $1400/month

We are seeking a skilled Preservation Architect to join our team in Funchal, Portugal. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1400 per month.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in preservation architecture
- Strong knowledge of historic preservation techniques and materials
- Experience working with government agencies and local historic preservation organizations
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities:
- Conducting research and assessments of historic buildings and structures
- Developing plans for the preservation and restoration of historic sites
- Collaborating with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure the structural integrity of the building is maintained during restoration
- Obtaining necessary permits and approvals from local government agencies
- Overseeing construction projects to ensure they adhere to preservation standards
- Providing recommendations for appropriate materials and techniques for restoration work
- Documenting all work done on the building for historical record keeping purposes
