Heavy Equipment Operator


We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Almada, Portugal. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of heavy machinery, such as bulldozers, excavators, loaders, and cranes. Your main goal will be to ensure the safe and efficient operation of these machines on construction sites.

Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner according to company policies and procedures
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and report any malfunctions or damage
- Communicate with site supervisors and other team members to ensure the smooth flow of work
- Follow all safety regulations and use personal protective equipment as required
- Complete daily logs and reports for equipment usage and maintenance
- Adhere to project timelines and meet productivity targets
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Train new operators when needed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Valid biometric passport or eligibility to obtain one in a timely manner
- At least 2 years of experience operating heavy machinery (construction experience preferred)
- Knowledge of basic maintenance procedures for heavy equipment
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
- Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination
- Strong attention to detail and safety protocols
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1400 per month. Additional benefits may be offered depending on experience and qualifications.

Location:
This is a full-time position located in Almada, Portugal.

While we prefer candidates with experience, we are also open to training individuals who demonstrate the necessary skills and motivation for this role.
