Senior Accountant


We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team in Faroe-Islands. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all financial activities of the company, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Create and maintain budgets and forecasts
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records
- Conduct internal audits to identify potential discrepancies or errors
- Collaborate with other departments to support decision-making processes
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures
- Train and supervise junior accounting staff

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's preferred)
- CPA qualification is a plus
- Minimum of 5 years experience in accounting or related field
- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and standards
- Experience with accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, SAP)
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Excellent communication skills

Salary: 1700$ per month
