Part-Time Surveyor Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our team as a Part-Time Surveyor Assistant in the beautiful Faroe Islands. As a surveyor assistant, you will work closely with our experienced surveyors to assist in collecting and analyzing data for various projects.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in setting up and operating surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, and levels
- Collect field data using various methods including GPS, digital levels, and manual measurements
- Use computer software to process and analyze collected data
- Help prepare reports and presentations based on survey findings
- Maintain accurate records of data collected during surveys
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow and project completion within given deadlines

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Previous experience in surveying or related field is preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Proficient in using basic surveying equipment such as total stations and GPS receivers
- Basic knowledge of computer software for data processing and analysis
- Good physical fitness as this job may involve long periods of standing, walking, or carrying equipment
