Mason - Construction and Maintenance Worker



We are hiring a skilled Mason to join our team in Nakuru, Kenya. As a Mason, you will be responsible for constructing and maintaining structures such as buildings, walls, and other masonry projects. This position requires physical strength, attention to detail, and the ability to work with various materials.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lay bricks, concrete blocks, and other building materials according to blueprints or instructions
- Mix mortar and spread it evenly between bricks or blocks
- Use tools such as trowels, levels, and hammers to shape and align building materials
- Cut or trim bricks and blocks to fit specific spaces using hand tools or saws
- Repair or replace damaged masonry work on existing structures
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines at all times while working on construction sites

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education required
- Proven experience as a Mason or similar role preferred
- Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions
- Knowledge of different types of masonry materials, tools, and techniques
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills

Salary: 1100$ per month
