We are in need of a reliable and experienced Cashier to join our team at a busy supermarket in Faro, Portugal. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for processing customer purchases, handling cash and credit transactions, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate should have previous cashier experience and be comfortable handling large amounts of money. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1400 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist them with their purchases
- Scan items and process transactions accurately
- Accept various forms of payment including cash, credit cards, and gift cards
- Maintain an accurate cash drawer throughout the shift
- Ensure that all prices are entered correctly into the system
- Answer any customer inquiries or concerns in a polite and professional manner
- Keep checkout area clean and organized

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a cashier or in a similar role
- Comfortable handling large amounts of money
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
