Truck Driver - Svalbard



We are seeking a responsible and experienced Truck Driver to join our team in Svalbard. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods across various distances. This is a full-time position with urgent job requirements.

Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a variety of trucks, including flatbeds, tankers, and box trucks
- Transport goods from one location to another in a timely manner
- Plan routes and follow designated schedules
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance as needed
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers on the road
- Keep accurate records of deliveries and completed orders

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a truck driver
- Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents
- Ability to pass drug/alcohol screenings and background checks
- Physical stamina to handle long hours behind the wheel and loading/unloading cargo as needed

Location:
This position is located in Svalbard, an archipelago located in the Arctic Ocean. While we prefer candidates who are already located in Svalbard or willing to relocate at their own expense, we are open to considering applicants from other locations who are able to commute or arrange their own accommodations.
