Temporary Restaurant Manager in Oslo, Norway
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Temporary Restaurant Manager to join our team in Oslo, Norway. This is an exciting opportunity for someone without experience to gain valuable skills and experience in the fast-paced world of restaurant management. As a temporary role, this position offers flexibility and the chance to work on a variety of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth and efficient service
- Manage and train staff, including scheduling shifts and providing guidance on customer service
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the restaurant
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food orders
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner
- Implement marketing strategies to increase sales and attract new customers
Requirements:
- Biometric passport or valid work permit for Norway (non-Norwegian citizens)
- High school diploma or equivalent (12 pass jobs)
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred but not required
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Norwegian is a plus)
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Salary:
This is a temporary position with a salary of 1600$ per month.
