Executive Chef at a Luxury Hotel in Muscat, Oman



We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at a luxury hotel in Muscat, Oman. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the culinary operations of our hotel, ensuring high-quality food and exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create and develop menus that reflect the hotel's concept and meet guest preferences
- Manage food inventory and control costs to achieve budgeted food cost percentages
- Lead and train kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food preparation, presentation, and service
- Ensure all kitchen equipment and facilities are well-maintained and in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
- Continuously monitor guest feedback and make necessary improvements to enhance their dining experience
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques or ingredients into menu offerings

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef in a luxury hotel or fine dining establishment
- Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or related field preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a team
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- In-depth knowledge of international cuisine, especially Middle Eastern cuisine is an advantage
- Fluent English communication skills are required; Arabic language proficiency is a plus
