Experienced Turner for Shipbuilding Company in Ashdod, Israel

Our shipbuilding company in Ashdod is seeking an experienced Turner to join our team. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machines used for cutting, shaping, and finishing metal parts according to specifications. This is a contract position suitable for those with their own visa and is open to all nationalities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine machining operations
- Set up and operate various machines such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and drill presses
- Choose appropriate cutting tools and materials for each job
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed
- Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality
- Troubleshoot issues with machines or parts as they arise
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Turner in a shipbuilding or similar industry
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
- Knowledge of different types of metals and their properties
- Skilled in operating various machining tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, etc.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills

Salary:
This position offers a competitive salary of $1000 per month.
