Head Pastry Chef
The Head Pastry Chef will oversee all aspects of the pastry department at our high-end restaurant in Khanpur. This individual will be responsible for creating and executing the dessert menu, managing inventory and ordering supplies, and supervising a team of pastry assistants. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pastry arts, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for creating delicious and visually appealing desserts.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and update the dessert menu to ensure it is in line with current trends and customer preferences
- Create new recipes and techniques to keep the dessert offerings fresh and exciting
- Train, supervise, and schedule pastry assistants to ensure high-quality desserts are consistently produced
- Maintain inventory levels of ingredients, supplies, and equipment needed for the pastry department
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of desserts for all events and special occasions
- Ensure all health and safety standards are met in the kitchen at all times
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role with a minimum of 5 years experience
- Degree or certification in pastry arts or culinary school preferred
- Extensive knowledge of different types of desserts, baking techniques, ingredients, and flavor combinations
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a team effectively
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail with a focus on presentation, taste, texture, and consistency of desserts
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Salary: 1200$ per month.
Location: Khanpur (Preference given to local candidates)
