Software Developer - Svalbard


We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Developer to join our team in Svalbard. As a Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of programming languages such as Java, C++, and Python, as well as experience with web development and database management.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with team members to design and develop software applications
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Troubleshoot and debug software issues
- Test and deploy software applications
- Maintain existing software systems and make necessary updates
- Develop user interfaces that are intuitive and user-friendly
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies in the software development industry
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in software development
- Proficient in programming languages such as Java, C++, Python
- Experience with web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Knowledge of database management (SQL, MySQL)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a team
- Excellent communication skills
