Executive Chef - Oslo, Norway
We are seeking a talented and passionate Executive Chef to join our team in Oslo. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen and ensuring high-quality, delicious meals are served to our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop menus and create new dishes that showcase local ingredients and flavors
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and plating to ensure consistency and quality
- Train and manage kitchen staff to maintain a high standard of culinary excellence
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen
- Collaborate with other departments to plan and execute special events and catering services
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a fine dining restaurant or hotel is preferred
- Strong knowledge of international cuisines, techniques, and trends
- Ability to lead, motivate, and train a diverse team of kitchen staff
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well under pressure
- Certification from a culinary institute is a plus
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
