We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interpreter to join our team on a contract basis in Bergen, Norway. In this role, you will be responsible for providing accurate and efficient interpretation services to clients in various settings. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented individual who is fluent in multiple languages and has a passion for facilitating communication between different cultures.

Responsibilities:
- Provide interpretation services in person, over the phone, or through video conferencing for clients in various industries such as healthcare, legal, and business.
- Ensure accurate and culturally sensitive communication between parties by accurately conveying the meaning and tone of the original message.
- Utilize specialized terminology and industry-specific knowledge to accurately interpret technical information.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
- Manage time effectively to meet tight deadlines and handle multiple assignments.
- Collaborate with other interpreters and team members to ensure consistency and accuracy in interpretation services.

Requirements:
- Fluency in English and at least one other language (preferably Norwegian).
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Strong understanding of cultural differences and sensitivity towards diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations with tact and professionalism.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Previous experience as an interpreter is preferred but not required.

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1400 per month.

Location:
This is a remote position that can be performed from anywhere in the world. However, preference will be given to candidates located in Bergen, Norway.
