Network and Systems Administrator

We are hiring a skilled Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Roskilde. In this role, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting our company's network and IT systems. Your main duties will include monitoring network performance, implementing security measures, configuring hardware and software, and providing technical support to employees.

To be successful in this position, you should have a strong understanding of networking protocols, operating systems, and hardware components. Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not required. We are willing to provide training for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Ensure security measures are in place to protect company data
- Configure hardware and software according to company needs
- Provide technical support to employees regarding network and system issues
- Collaborate with IT team to develop solutions for complex problems
- Keep up-to-date with latest industry trends and best practices

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and operating systems (Windows, Linux)
- Experience with network hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware)
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good communication skills

Preferred:
- Prior experience in a similar role
- Certifications such as CCNA or MCSA

Location:
This position is located in Roskilde, Denmark. Candidates must either hold a valid work visa/permit or be eligible for visa sponsorship.

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1700 per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
