Entry-Level Information Security Analyst

As an Entry-Level Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our company's information systems and data. You will assist in identifying potential security risks and implementing measures to protect against them. This role involves conducting regular security audits, analyzing data to identify vulnerabilities, and recommending solutions to enhance our overall security posture.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular security audits to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities
- Analyze data from various sources to identify potential security threats
- Develop and implement measures to mitigate identified risks
- Monitor network activity for suspicious behavior or unauthorized access
- Stay up-to-date on the latest security trends and technologies
- Assist in developing and maintaining company-wide information security policies and procedures

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
- Knowledge of information security principles, practices, and tools
- Familiarity with common operating systems (e.g. Windows, Linux) and network infrastructure
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns and anomalies in data
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
- Experience with firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, anti-virus software, etc.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements (e.g. GDPR, HIPAA)

Salary: $1700 USD/month
