Junior Information Security Analyst
We are searching for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Information Security Analyst to join our team in Almada. As a member of our information security team, you will be responsible for assisting in the implementation and maintenance of security measures to protect our company's data and systems. This is an entry-level position that does not require prior experience, making it an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or those looking to transition into the field of information security. This is a contract position with a salary of 1700$ per month. Accommodation will not be provided by the company, so we prefer candidates who are already located in Almada.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in monitoring and analyzing network traffic for potential security breaches
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and provide recommendations for remediation
- Implement and maintain security protocols and procedures
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and emerging threats
- Collaborate with other team members to identify potential risks and develop solutions
- Assist in incident response activities as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
- Strong interest in information security with a desire to learn and grow within the field
- Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.
- Familiarity with common operating systems (Windows, Linux) and web technologies (HTTP/HTTPS)
- Basic understanding of firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and other security tools
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong communication skills in English (Portuguese language skills are a plus)
