QA Engineer

We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer to join our team in Bergen. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through thorough testing and analysis. This position requires attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with developers and other team members.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct manual and automated testing on software products
- Develop and execute test plans and test cases
- Identify, isolate, and document software defects
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues
- Maintain testing environments and equipment
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and trends in quality assurance

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a QA Engineer or similar role
- Proficiency in manual and automated testing tools
- Knowledge of software development processes and methodologies
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with biometric passport technology
- Previous experience working in agile development environments
- Familiarity with SQL databases
- Knowledge of web development languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript

Location: This position is based in Bergen but remote work options may be available. Accommodation can be provided for non-local candidates.

Salary: The salary for this position starts at $1000 per month but is negotiable based on qualifications and experience.
