We are seeking a skilled and experienced Interpreter to join our team on a contract basis. As an Interpreter, you will be responsible for accurately translating verbal communication between individuals who speak different languages. This role requires fluency in at least two languages, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt quickly to different settings and subjects.

Responsibilities:
- Facilitate clear and accurate communication between speakers of different languages
- Listen carefully to the speaker and accurately interpret their words into the target language
- Maintain a professional demeanor and tone while interpreting
- Understand and follow cultural sensitivity guidelines when communicating with individuals from diverse backgrounds
- Research unfamiliar terms or concepts to ensure accurate interpretation
- Take notes or record information as needed for reference during the interpretation process

Requirements:
- Fluency in at least two languages, including English
- Excellent verbal communication skills in both languages
- Ability to adapt quickly to various subjects and settings
- Strong listening skills and ability to process information quickly
- Knowledge of cultural sensitivity and ability to apply it during interpretation
- Strong research skills for unfamiliar terms or concepts

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1100 per month.

Location:
This is a remote position that can be performed from anywhere in the USA.

Experience:
No prior experience is required for this role. However, previous experience as an interpreter or in a related field is preferred.
