Our architecture firm is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Architect to join our team in the bustling city of New York. As a Commercial Architect, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of various commercial buildings such as office complexes, retail spaces, and restaurants. Your main goal will be to create functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces that meet the needs and budget of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with clients to understand their specific requirements and develop design proposals
- Create detailed drawings, blueprints, and 3D models using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Conduct site visits to ensure that construction is in line with design plans and make any necessary adjustments
- Oversee the work of junior architects and drafters to ensure accuracy and quality of work
- Research building codes, regulations, and zoning laws to ensure compliance with local laws
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, engineers, and other professionals involved in the project

Requirements:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 5 years' experience working as a Commercial Architect
- Strong proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or Revit
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and zoning laws
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to strict deadlines
