Senior Agronomist in Abu Dhabi


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Agronomist to join our agricultural team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agronomy, with experience in crop production, soil management, and pest control. As a Senior Agronomist, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of crop cultivation on our farm, including planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement crop production plans in line with best practices and industry standards
- Monitor and maintain soil health through regular testing and analysis
- Identify and manage pests and diseases through effective control measures
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols
- Train and supervise junior agronomists and farm workers
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize farm operations and increase productivity
- Keep up-to-date with advancements in agricultural technology and techniques

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Agronomy or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience as an Agronomist or similar role
- Knowledge of crop production methods, pest control strategies, and soil management techniques
- Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and safety protocols
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and manage a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1700$ per month. Additional benefits may be offered based on experience.

Location:
This position is based in Abu Dhabi. Relocation assistance may be provided for qualified candidates.

This job is open to both local residents of Abu Dhabi as well as foreigners. Visa sponsorship may be available for qualified candidates.
