Pastry Chef - Bergen, Norway
We are seeking a skilled and creative Pastry Chef to join our team in Bergen, Norway. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a variety of desserts, pastries, and breads for our restaurant. Your main duty will be to develop new recipes and oversee the production of all pastry items. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working as a Pastry Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel, strong knowledge of ingredients and techniques, and exceptional attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Create new pastry recipes and update existing ones
- Oversee the production of all pastries, desserts, and breads
- Ensure that all products meet quality standards
- Train and supervise pastry assistants
- Maintain inventory of ingredients and equipment
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop menu ideas
- Adhere to food safety regulations at all times
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel
- Strong knowledge of ingredients and baking techniques
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop new recipes
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Team player with excellent communication skills
- Degree or certification in Culinary Arts is preferred
Salary:
The salary for this position is 1000$ per month.
