Back-End Developer

As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the server-side logic of our web-based applications. You will collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration between the server-side and client-side components. Your primary focus will be on developing and maintaining high-quality, efficient code, as well as troubleshooting any issues that arise. You should have a strong understanding of server-side languages such as Java or Python, as well as experience with databases and web servers. Familiarity with agile development methodologies and version control systems is also desirable. This position is located in Funchal, with a salary of $1100 per month without accommodation provided. A biometric passport is required for this role.

We are looking for candidates who have a degree in computer science or a related field, along with at least 2 years of experience in back-end development. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is preferred. You should also have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. Strong communication skills are essential for collaborating effectively with other members of our development team.
