Preservation Architect
We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Preservation Architect to join our team in Esbjerg. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and protecting historical buildings and structures. Your main duties will include conducting research, creating preservation plans, and overseeing restoration projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on historical buildings and structures to determine their significance and current condition
- Develop preservation plans that outline specific measures for maintaining and protecting these buildings
- Collaborate with other architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure the structural integrity of historical buildings during restoration projects
- Monitor restoration projects to ensure they comply with preservation guidelines and standards
- Maintain accurate records of all preservation activities and projects
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Previous experience in historic preservation is preferred but not required
- Strong understanding of architectural history, styles, and techniques
- Excellent research skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Salary:
$1700 per month (contract job)
