PHP Developer - Atlanta


As a PHP Developer, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing websites and web applications for our clients in Atlanta. Your primary focus will be on writing efficient and clean code that meets business requirements and follows industry best practices. You will work closely with our team of designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions within tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:
- Write well-designed, efficient, and reusable code
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing code
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Keep up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in web development
- Identify and address performance issues
- Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and consistency

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a PHP Developer or similar role
- Solid knowledge of PHP programming language
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery
- Experience working with MySQL databases
- Understanding of MVC design patterns
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles
- Experience working with version control systems (Git)
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience with Laravel or other PHP frameworks
- Knowledge of AWS or other cloud platforms
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
