DevOps Developer

We are hiring a skilled DevOps Developer to join our growing team in Lisbon. As a DevOps Developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the systems and processes that enable our software development team to deliver high-quality code at a rapid pace. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of 1500$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy software applications
- Implement automation tools and processes to streamline the software development lifecycle
- Monitor and troubleshoot system issues, ensuring high availability and performance of our applications
- Work closely with developers to identify and resolve infrastructure issues
- Maintain and improve existing deployment pipelines
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in DevOps processes

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems
- Experience with automation/configuration management tools such as Ansible or Chef
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, etc.)
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Good communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Prometheus or Nagios
- Previous experience working with virtualization technologies (VMware, VirtualBox)
- Knowledge of database management systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
