Seasonal Restaurant Manager
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Restaurant Manager to join our team for the busy summer season in Porto, Portugal. As the Seasonal Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant's operations, including managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining high-quality food and beverage standards.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Restaurant Manager
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of budgeting, inventory management, and cost control
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and make quick decisions
- Excellent customer service skills
- Fluent in English (Portuguese language skills are a plus)
- Must have legal authorization to work in Portugal
Responsibilities:
- Hire, train, and manage restaurant staff
- Create staff schedules and ensure adequate coverage for all shifts
- Monitor food quality and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Oversee inventory management and ordering of supplies
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and revenue
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Conduct performance evaluations for staff members
- Collaborate with marketing team to develop promotions or special events
- Manage restaurant budget and maintain cost control measures
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
This is a seasonal job that will last from May to September. The salary for this position is 1000$ per month. Please note that this is a job without accommodation or visa sponsorship.
