Network and Systems Administrator
Location: Svalbard, Norway


We are seeking a skilled Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Svalbard, Norway. As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting our network infrastructure and ensuring the smooth operation of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain network equipment including routers, switches, firewalls, and other devices
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Ensure security of the network by implementing appropriate measures and regularly updating security protocols
- Conduct regular backups of systems and data to ensure data integrity
- Troubleshoot system failures and work with vendors to resolve any hardware or software issues
- Manage user accounts and permissions on the network
- Provide technical support to end-users for network or systems related issues

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Network and Systems Administrator
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMWare or Hyper-V
- Knowledge of server operating systems such as Windows Server or Linux
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Salary:
This is a full-time position with a salary of $1300 per month.
