Preservation Architect



A reputable architecture firm in the US is seeking a skilled and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures while adhering to strict preservation guidelines and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of historic buildings and structures to determine necessary preservation and restoration plans
- Develop detailed preservation plans that meet local, state, and federal guidelines
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure preservation plans are carried out effectively
- Oversee construction work to ensure compliance with preservation guidelines
- Research and recommend appropriate materials and techniques for restoration projects
- Maintain accurate documentation of all preservation work

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in historic preservation projects
- Strong understanding of local, state, and federal preservation regulations
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other architectural software
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with project teams
- Knowledge of sustainable design principles is a plus
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1300 per month.

Location:
This is a contract job located in the US. Candidates must have their own valid visa or be eligible to work in the US.
