Handyman for Home Maintenance and Repairs


As a Handyman for Home Maintenance and Repairs in Alta, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various aspects of residential properties. This includes performing tasks such as painting, basic plumbing and electrical work, carpentry, and general upkeep of the property. Your main goal will be to ensure that all aspects of the property are in good working order and well-maintained.

To excel in this role, you should have prior experience in a similar position, preferably in a residential setting. You should possess strong problem-solving skills, be detail-oriented, and have a good eye for spotting potential issues before they become major problems.

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, basic plumbing and electrical work
- Repair or replace damaged fixtures such as doors, windows, cabinets, etc.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify any potential issues or areas that need attention
- Keep track of necessary repairs and maintenance schedules
- Respond promptly to tenant or owner requests for repairs or maintenance
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Handyman or similar role
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, painting techniques
- Good communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with tenants/owners about repairs
- Physical stamina to handle physical tasks such as lifting heavy objects and working at heights if necessary
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively

Bonus Skills (not required):
- Experience working with HVAC systems
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations

This is a full-time position offering a salary of $1100 per month. Accommodation can be provided if needed.
