Formwork Specialist
In this position, you will be responsible for constructing temporary structures, also known as formwork, that support the concrete during construction projects in Monte-Carlo. You will use a variety of materials such as wood, steel, and prefabricated forms to create the necessary molds for the concrete. Your main duties will include measuring and cutting materials to specific dimensions, assembling and securing formwork pieces, and ensuring that the formwork is level and properly aligned. You must have strong attention to detail and be able to read and interpret blueprints and other technical documents.
To be successful in this role, you should have at least 2 years of experience working as a formworker or carpenter in the construction industry. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and additional certification or training in formwork construction is preferred. You must also have good physical stamina as this job requires standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy materials, and working at heights.
As a Formwork Specialist, you will work closely with other construction professionals such as engineers, architects, and project managers. Therefore, strong communication skills are essential in order to collaborate effectively with team members. You may also be required to train and supervise entry-level workers on proper formwork techniques.
This is a contract position without accommodation provided. Candidates must have their own valid visa for working in Monte-Carlo. The salary for this position is 1600$, but may vary based on experience and qualifications.
