Baker Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Baker Assistant to join our team in Fonvieille. As a Baker Assistant, you will work alongside our experienced bakers to assist in the preparation and production of baked goods. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and development within the company.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of doughs, batters, fillings, and other ingredients
- Operate baking equipment such as mixers, ovens, and proofers
- Monitor baking process to ensure products are baked to perfection
- Decorate and finish baked goods according to company standards
- Clean and maintain work area and equipment
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
- Communicate effectively with team members and follow instructions from head baker

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a bakery or food production setting preferred
- Ability to work early morning shifts and weekends as needed
- Physically fit with the ability to stand for long periods of time, lift heavy objects, and withstand high temperatures
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for baking and creativity in decorating baked goods
- Food handling certification is a plus

Salary: $1200 per month

This position is open to students who are looking for part-time or summer jobs. Training will be provided for those without previous experience.
